Do people perform better when competing (trying to get or win something others are also trying to get or win) or collaborating (working together with others)? Explain by giving examples. Does competition or collaboration work better for you? Why?

I think people perform better when competing. Competition adds energy and drive to the effort.

I agree to what you are saying ms.brody but sometimes every one wants to be competing among each other to see who is better but when it comes to show every works hard to be competing among each other

i think that people can collaborate with each other that maybe working together like a team and maybe they should win something it might be better for me and working with others.

people have competition to get or win something. For example , when I play bingo with my mother I try to get a prize.

People perform better when they collaborate together.for example, people have different ideas that you might not know.i would perform better collaborating because when you work together you can come up with good ideas that the group didn't know or you can explain to the group what's your idea.for example, me and my classmates work together and come up with some good ideas.
