People have said that "a picture is worth a thousand words," but this one might need a few more.

One Saturday, Mrs. Emily Johnson was excited to go out to lunch with two of her closest friends. They had not seen each other for a few months because sometimes life gets in the way – work, kids, husbands, even pets. She really wanted the day to be special, so she got her hair and nails done, and put on her favorite sleeveless blue dress with the big orange polka dots – she knew she had great arms and the dress made her look stunning.

A lot of planning hade gone into this day – it’s hard for working moms of three children to get even a little free time to hang out with old friends – so she was dismayed to find that the beautiful pheasant feather from the hat she was going to wear was missing. Where could it be? At just that moment she noticed the house was too quiet – unnaturally quiet – especially for a family of five plus rambunctious cat. She also noticed that the large ball of twine she just bought was missing from the kitchen counter. But then came the voices – “Ouch! Move over! Get off of me! It’s too tight! I can’t move! Let me out! Meow!!!...”

Emily ran into the yard to discover her three children, Amanda, Dejair and Octavia tied up with twine, Octavia holding her prized feather, and the cat, L Train, caught in the middle in Amanda’s arms meowing loudly. What trouble did they get into now? Emily was mad – she was now running late for her lunch date – but the scene in front of her was too funny. She couldn’t let the kids see her laugh, and if she didn’t deal with it then and there, she might never see a feather in her hat or a ball of twine on the kitchen counter ever again.

Suppressing a giggle, Emily, with the sternest face she could make, directed her attention to the oldest child Amanda. “What is happening!? How did you get into this mess!? Is that a bandage on L Train’s tail? Amanda replied, “…”

YOU FINISH THE STORY!

ms.bk,I Think your story is Awesome that Amanda said that she and the kids were playing jump rope and then they got all tangled up and also, she said that there was a bandage or maybe paper on L train's tail that's when the mom got upset she told the kids were doing with that jump rope they told her That they were playing with the rope.
